Check out this Renault RS01 GT3- PURE SOUNDS on the Nürburgring! video.
In this video you will see the Renault RS01 GT3 going flat out on the Nurburgring Nordschleife! The RS01 is powered by the VR38DETT engine from the Nissan GT-R, making 550HP and 601nm of torque. The engine is now also in the middle of the car, unlike the GT-R where it is placed in the front. The car consists of a carbon fiber monocoque, with a steel roll cage and the transmission is a sequential 7-speed box by Sadev. It has Performance Friction carbon breaks 380mm with 6-piston calipers. The suspension set-up is by Öhlin, both front and rear are double wishbone pushrods and custom designed Michelin tires. The car weighs around 1270kg’s (2800lbs). Let me know what you thought of this insane machine in the comments below!
